Frank – 6 – Sweet, good with nuts, pie.
Kevin – 6 – heavier white, almost syrupy with lots of fruit.
Kate – 5 – great with nuts and cheese, too buttery for me
Cres – 7.65 – Candy apple on a stick!
Jess – 5 – very dessert – like. Love how certain flavors "pop" out at you.
Erin – 7 – carmel, rich, thick
Sextant "Holystone" Zinn ’05
Frank – 6 – Berry aroma, well balanced, mild
Kevin – 8.5 – berries.. lots of berries
Kate – 8 – yummy, lighter Zin / peppery
Cres – 7.82 – More satin than silk.
Jess – 7.5 – dry and delicious. Love the flavors, mixes well together.
Erin – 7 – raspberry on the nose, blackberry, long finish

Frank – 7 – clean, light finish, beautifully calm ( taste the cranberry and red berry )
Kevin – 4 – you take a taste and then it’s gone
Kate – 3 – non-descript
Cres – 6.743 – Very earthy mouth, like dirt.
Jess – 6 – full body, but a little too bitter for my taste.

Frank – 8 – earthy, definitely cassis. Not sweet at all. Great with fruity dishes. Neutral with chocolate. (taste the spiced plum)
Kevin – 7.9 – good start, dry, fails on the finish
Kate – 6 – flat finish. Big initial taste. dirty.
Cres – 8.16 – Paso butthole!
Jess – 8.5 – "perfectly spicy ". a very exciting wine.
Erin – 7 – really taste the chocolate covered cherries, and the supple tannins

Frank – very well balanced.
Kevin – 9.2 – really good, Zin is prominent.
Kate – 9 – very complex and fruit forward with a great finish.
Cres – 8.77 – Zin + Petite Sirrah. Wow!
Jess – 9 – very smooth. Right balance of flavors and spice.

Frank – 5 – syrupy. No dominant character. A bit forgetable, yet I applaud the blend. Exploration.
Kevin – 8 – tapers down after the first taste. Strong berry nose, good in the beginning jammy
Kate – 7 – starts like a dessert wine. ends quickly with not too much flavor.
Cres – 8.89 – feeling the chocolate taste. (there was chocolate edibles served there)
Jess – 5.5 – a little bland… I think I can’t find much special about this one. Why is it so expensive?
Erin – 8 – yum!!

Ellen – 3 – little sweet for me.
Laura – 5 – smooth and easy for fish. very fruity with little aftertaste.

Ellen – 5 – light and breezy but a little warm.
Laura – 3 – ehh. Not a big fan of Chards. Would drink it to get drunk.
Sextant Chardonnay ’06
Ellen – 3 – butterscotch is yummy but not my cup of tea.
Laura – 10* – very sweet. oaky smooth. DELICIOUS!

Ellen – 7 – drinkable fruity but not sweet.
Laura – 1 – way too sour. no thank you.
Sextant "Wheelhouse" Zin ’06
Ellen – 4 – Light in the loafers for Zin without the Zin zing.
Laura – 2 – old world flavor. Good for the traditional types. Dry. But I can see someone else liking it.
Sextant "Holystone" Zin ’06
Ellen – 6 – Complex in the flavor profile – a nice series of surprising flavors.
Laura – 1 – bitter bite. kind of interesting… Would like to try it with a heavy meat meal.
